District IX Spring Meeting

Congrats to all who participated in Large Group AE.  Good luck to those moving on to State AE. State AE – May 2 or May 3, 2008.

OMEA Convention 2009 is in Columbus on January 15 – 17, 2009.

Hence, we will need to push our Honors Band Festival up to 1/10/09.

Commissioning project: Amanda Blevins contacted Barry Kopetz, rate is $500.00 per ½ grade level and $600.00 for the honor band date.  It was decided to commission a grade 3 high school class C level piece for $3000.00 and commit to honor band festival date.

2008 Jr. High/Middle School Large Group

Maysville High School.

There were assorted items left at high school large group AE held at Zanesville.  Also clean recording cd’s were distributed from the even.
